Hello I am Alvon, I am excited to join Always Pass Driving school
I have undertaken the most up to date training and development demanded by the DVSA to be allowed to instruct students.
I will conducting automatic Lessons in around the Newbury/Thatcham and covering the local surrounding villages in a super easy to drive automatic electric vehicle, offering relaxed, comfortable CO2 neutral driving.
I have over 15 years of advanced driving experience as a front line emergency services worker. I am passionate about road safety and in helping people to achieve the best they can be. I have worked as a trainer, teaching others to find their own path.
Lessons will be structured but relaxed, fun and engaging. Guiding and coaching you on your driving journey.
The aim is to Practice, Learn, Pass and become a safe, confident and independent driver.
I highly recommend Alvon as a driving instructor. As a complete beginner, I found his pragmatic approach and exceptional patience invaluable. He was also very considerate, rescheduling lessons whenever needed throughout my driving journey. Alvon’s clear instruction and insightful observations helped me learn effectively, and I passed my practical test on the first try! He even helped calm my nerves on the day of the test, boosting my confidence which is key to passing.

Dan Tree
Dan is a very experienced educator having been Head of Physical Education at Park House School for 20 years. He has huge experience working with anxious learners and is calm, friendly and fun when teaching. Dan has been a driving instructor for over 12 months, and is a great asset to Always Pass, very knowledgeable in teaching the area of Newbury, and surrounding areas.
Dan teaches manual lessons in Newbury and the surrounding villages in an easy to drive, brand new Suzuki Swift.
Teaching: Manual learners, refresher lessons, nervous learners, learners with learning difficulties
Teaching area: within 15 minutes of south Newbury / Wash Common
Driving Test Centre: Newbury Test Centre
Lessons available with Dan
Lessons available with Dan throughout the working week with lessons costing £45 per hour. Lessons mostly 2 hours long with a few 1.5 hour slots.
